Started my birth control pills last night. Since my clinic only does IVF every other month, I’ll be on the pills until I start my stims in early March.

I still am amused at the irony that taking birth control is the first step to me hopefully getting pregnant.
The good news is that my insurance paid for the pills since it covers contraceptives. That saved me $77. Small savings in the grand scheme of things, but I’ll take it!

Yay for starting!! Thinking of you!!
Thanks, Kasey! I’ve been thinking of you, too.
Woo hoo! Yay for getting started! And yay for insurance coverage!!! The small things add up!
Yes, I was so pleasantly surprised they were covered!
Huge hugs & prayers to you on this journey! I’m Tara and part of your SITS Girls tribe 🙂 I really look forward to getting to know you better!
Thanks, Tara! Same to you! 🙂
Excited for you as you start this next step in upur journey! Hope you’re getting lots of use out of your super spendy IVF candle. 😉 Visiting from ICLW. Fun to see you on the list. 🙂
Thanks, Lo! I actually threw out the candle because it smelled like… absolutely nothing! Happy ICLW!
Aww! I feel like I’m coming over here in the middle of things. I hope this works well for you and you get your bundle of joy in the end. I’m in your SITS niche tribe. It’s nice to “meet” you. I look forward to getting to know you!
Hi Brittnei, so nice to meet you, too! 🙂 I’m looking forward to checking out your blog, as well.
My niece is on a similar journey – it certainly seems backwards, but whatever moves you forward will get you closer to your goals. Sending positive vibes your way.
Thanks, Connie. Best wishes to your niece, too!
It does seem backwards, doesn’t it? Sending positive thoughts your way!
What amazing stories I have read! You are a strong woman!! My parents were both told that they wouldn’t be able to have children (each had different issues) and 7 years later they had me then 3 more! Have a wonderful day from your SITS sister =) Marcy @ day2day SuperMom
I have several friends who went through IVF, and who now have wonderful families. Good luck!
I just got mine today! I think it’s crazy how I have to go on these, but my doctor knows what he is doing! Mine with free as well! Hooray!
