Each month I share some of the newly-published and soon-to-be-released book on infertility and related emotional, spiritual, or physical issues. Here’s what coming up for April. I find it interesting that there are two books about the male perspective
Conceiving Masculinity: Male Infertility, Medicine, and Identity by Liberty Walther Barnes
The Kind Mama: A Simple Guide to Supercharged Fertility, a Radiant Pregnancy, a Sweeter Birth, and a Healthier, More Beautiful Beginning by Alicia Silverstone
Catawampus: The Fertility Process From a Man’s Perspective by Stuart A. Burkhalter
Do any of these look good to you? Did you read any gems this month? Please share your thoughts in the comments below.

I think the male infertility books sound really interesting. However, selfishly, I’m not sure that I’d devote my precious reading time to them, but for husbands that read (so umm, not mine) these might be a great resource. I know there are a lot of times that my husband can’t relate to what I’m felling or thinking… I’m sure it would be comforting to have his thoughts and feelings reflected back at him.
Hope you’re doing okay, Lisa! I’m thinking of you!
Thanks for the thoughts, Amanda. I agree that I probably wouldn’t read the male infertility books, but you’re right that they may be a great resources for men who want to learn more.
These look like great resources! Thanks for sharing them. The male infertility factor is definitely something that more people are finally talking about. Here’s another book from a male author in Arizona: “Almost a Father,” by Denny Ceizyk
