Today marks the 12th day of Lupron for my FET. Since my last update, I’ve also started Heparin injections twice a day, baby Aspirin, Medrol, and estrogen patches.
I was feeling pretty good when I wrote last week’s update, but I’ve felt real crummy for the last 6 days. The Lupron has given me a non-stop headache since Tuesday. My RE says it’s because Lupron basically puts you in a pre-menopausal state. I’ve also been having hot flashes and night sweats, which have been made worse by the unusually hot weather we’ve been having lately.
Unfortunately for my husband, my moods have been all over the place. I’m an easy crier, but it’s been even worse during this cycle. Plus, I’m super-irritable. I still feel bad for being rude to the poor girl at the gym when I went in to talk to her about a billing question.
Also, I want to eat ALL THE FOOD. ALL THE TIME!!!
Anyways, I had blood work and a scan on Wednesday and every thing looks good so far. The transfer is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 14th.
I realized I had been spending way too much time at the RE’s office when I found myself admiring the new stirrup covers while waiting in the exam room.
Hi Lisa, I wanted to say thanks again, for stopping by my blog and I wanted to return the love and read yours. I’m so glad to have found it. What a strong woman you are! I have been blessed with 2 boys so I can’t say that I know what you are going through but I do know that God has a plan for you and when the time is right you will also be blessed with beautiful baby of your own. I have a friend who is having been TTC for almost 2 years and talks about how difficult it is to find other women who understand. I am going to share your blog with her, I’m certain she will love it.
Marina, yes, please share my blog (or any of the blogs featured in my interviews) with your friend. The online community has been such a tremendous support to me.
Good look this time. Thank God for understanding husbands. Those stirrups are cute. They’re much better looking than the ones at my RE’s office
