Every month I share upcoming and newly-published books dealing with the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of infertility. I’ve only read one book on this month’s list, so I’m not necessarily endorsing these titles. I’m just making you aware of what’s new. Enjoy!
Where Have All the Storks Gone? A His and Hers Guide to Infertility
by Michelle & Chris Miller
Michelle and Chris share the story of how they met, married, and survived infertility. They use humor and stories from their life to educate and encourage readers going through infertility. I’ll be doing a more thorough review and giveaway of this book later this month. (Be sure to read the interview I did with them, too!)
Not Trying: Infertility, Childlessness, and Ambivalence
by Kristin J. Wilson
Explores the attitudes of women who struggle with fertility yet choose not to pursue treatment due to an ambivalence about motherhood or non-motherhood. Sounds like an interesting read!
Conceiving Healthy Babies: An Herbal Guide to Support Preconception, Pregnancy and Lactation
by Dawn Combs
The author is an ethnobotanist and herbalist, and she writes about using plants in their whole form to assist in conception, pregnancy, and lactation. I’m not sure I’ve ever come across a fertility nutrition book that focuses on herbs before. Fascinating!
Living with Infertility: A Christian Perspective
by Rosemary Morgan
The description on Amazon says: “[This book] is about living within infertility, continuing to have a spiritual life, and doing something more than simply sitting around waiting for a baby.” Sounds like something I need to read! (The Kindle edition is already available).
