“Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.” -Isaiah 30:21
Infertility is full of decisions. You have to decide…
…when to see a doctor
…which doctor to see
…which medicines to take
…which treatments you’re comfortable with
…when to stop treatment
…when to try one more time
…when to tell people you’re trying
…who to tell you’re trying
It can all get a little confusing and there may not always be a clear choice. So how do you know what you should do?
The Bible, especially the Psalms, is full of God’s people asking for clarity and guidance.
Make me know Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day. – Psalm 25:4-5
Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul. – Psalm 143:8
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.- Psalm 143:10
Scripture instructs us to turn to God and His Word when we need guidance on what to do. When we rely on His knowledge, and not our own understanding, He will guide us.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6
As you pray today, ask God to guide you and give you clarity when you make decision on your infertility journey.
