I love this quote by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He said it in the context of the Civil Rights Movement, of course, but I think it also applies to the infertility disappointment we so often feel.

It’s the challenge of infertility isn’t it? We live with a cycle of disappointment and hope, again and again. Yet somehow in the midst of the journey, if we can grieve the disappointment, but find the hope that goes deeper than that, then spiritually, we can never be infertile. It’s a hope that goes deeper than the circumstances but yet doesn’t deny those circumstances.
Accepting that finite disappointment every month! It hurts so deeply… Yet, moving on!
