Each month I share some of the newly-published and soon-to-be-released books about infertility, family building, and related emotional, spiritual, or physical issues. I haven’t read any of these yet (except for the first one), but I wanted to share them with you in case you might be interested. Please be aware that the links in this post are Amazon affiliate links. If you purchase a book through Amazon after clicking on one of my links, I’ll receive a small commission (at no extra cost to you).
Taking Charge of Your Fertility, 20th Anniversary Edition: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health by Toni Weschler. This is THE book to read if you’re looking to learn more about tracking and understanding your cycles, and the 20th anniversary update is coming out. I’ve mentioned it before on this blog and I also have a full review on my other blog. I’ve already pre-ordered it as a wedding present for my brother’s fiancee (awkward? I don’t care!). If you only read one TTC book, this should be it.
The Infertility Handbook: The Complete Resource for Couples Longing to Have a Baby by Angela I. Hutchins. According to Amazon, “The areas covered include: understanding your reproductive cycle; the causes of infertility in both men and women; assisted reproductive technologies (IVF and FET); complementary and alternative therapies; the emotional aspects of experiencing infertility; adoption and surrogacy; and, legal considerations.”
Hope Beyond Fibroids: Stories of Miracle Babies & the Journey to Motherhood by Gessie J. Thompson and Felicia T. Scott. This title is interesting to me because I rarely see any books specifically about fibroids. I thought it might be beneficial for someone who is struggling with what issue.
Seeing in the Dark: Finding God’s Light in the Most Unexpected Places by Nancy Ortberg. Nancy is a highly-acclaimed author, and this title is from a major Christian publisher. Amazon’s description says, “Nancy highlights the often unexpected, sometimes imperceptible, yet always extraordinary means God uses to light our way through even the most painful and challenging moments in life.” Sounds good to me!
Help My Unbelief: Why Doubt Is Not the Enemy of Faith by Barnabas Piper. When unaddressed, doubt can eat away at our faith- especially during infertility. This book aims to show us how doubt can help grow our faith instead.
Do any of these look good to you? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. And be sure to check out my list of my all-time favorite books to read during infertility.

That last book sounds good too – I need to check that out. I don’t think I have heard of it!
Hello 🙂 I’m stopping by from Making Your Home Sing Mondays. I know so many who have been wounded by infertility, so this list is a good resource to pass along to others! Thanks! Jen @ Being Confident of This
Thanks for stopping by, Jen! I appreciate you passing along the list to your friends.
Thanks for sharing girl! xo
Thanks for sharing these. I’m sure they will prove to be helpful for those dealing with infertility. I pray that God will bless you on your journey. I’d like to suggest a book written by a friend of mine telling about her experiences with infertility. It’s called The Process, The Promise: a journal for infertility prayer. You can find it at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Process-Promise-journal-infertility-prayer-ebook/dp/B00U7UGOB2/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1436389216&sr=1-1&keywords=the+process+the+promise
