Each month I share some of the newly-published and soon-to-be-released books on infertility, family building, and related emotional, spiritual, or physical issues. I haven’t read any of these yet, but I wanted to share them with you in case you might be interested.
Reconceiving Infertility: Biblical Perspectives on Procreation and Childlessness by Candida Moss and Joel Baden. Written by a professor from University of Notre Dame and published by Princeton University Press, this is sure to be fascinating and well-researched. I’ll be interested in seeing if it aligns with church teachings.
Homemade Smoothies for Mother and Baby: 300 Healthy Fruit and Green Smoothies for Preconception, Pregnancy, Nursing and Baby’s First Years by Kristine Miles. I’m a sucker for delicious smoothies so I’m always looking for new recipes. This book looks like it would be beneficial while trying to conceive and beyond.
The Hope Quotient: Measure It. Raise It. You’ll Never Be the Same by Ray Johnston. This book is aimed at the general Christian audience, but I chose it because anyone suffering from infertility could use more hope, right? It looks like it could provide the pick-me-up that some of us desperately need.
Do any of these look good to you? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
