“I’m so scared of IVF.”
It’s a phrase I often hear in emails and comments from readers. And it’s a completely understandable feeling. IVF is long, complicated, and expensive. There are so many unknowns, especially if it’s your first cycle.
I remember feeling terrified and overwhelmed before starting the first of my three cycles. So much was at stake and I wanted to do everything I could to prepare myself mentally and emotionally for what I was about to do. But I didn’t know where to start.
There were lots of great infertility blogs with wonderful articles and tips about preparing for and surviving IVF, but it was time-consuming to sort through them and pick out the tips I thought would work for me. I wanted one resource that covered the things I could do, from the first day of the cycle all the way to getting the beta results, that would help me feel prepared for whatever may come.
A few weeks ago, I told you that I was busy creating an e-course that I believe would do just that. I’m happy to let you know that the course officially opens today. I took all the things I learned from my 3 fresh cycles (and 1 frozen cycle), and put them all in one spot. I cover everything from organizing your medications, to ideas for how to be intentional about self-care, to making a plan for what to do if your cycle fails, and how to stay connected with your spouse during your cycle. There are also several printable downloads designed to help you think through certain stages of IVF.
The course if organized in a way that allows you to work through it from start-to-finish, or you can just skip ahead to the lessons that interest you. I chose a course format over an eBook because it will allow me to continuously update and add to the course, and you’ll receive those updates automatically.
Update 2/15/18: The course is now closed for enrollment. If you previously purchased it, you can still access it here. If you’re interested in the course, you might want to check out the Kindle ebook version of it.
