I’ve been thinking lately about women who have just been diagnosed with infertility or who are just beginning treatments. I think back to February 2013, when I was just beginning my testing and treatments. I had no idea what was in store for me and my husband. I didn’t know how long it would take to be successful, or if we would even be successful. Everything was new and everything was unknown.
I want to encourage those of you who are in similar circumstances today. Be comforted in knowing that even though your infertility may have taken you by surprise, it is not a surprise to God. He knows where your story will go and how it will end. He has good and wonderful things planned for you- even if they’re not the good and wonderful things you hoped and wished for (Jeremiah 29:11).
If you’re just starting out on this journey, know that He is with you (Psalm 23:4) and will carry you as you take each step (Isaiah 46:4).
Want to dive deeper into cultivating your faith? I highly recommend Lara Casey’s Write the Word / Cultivate Faith Journal. It features specially-selected key verses to write out, along with space to write your thoughts, prayers, or whatever is on your heart.

I recently came upon your blog and I love it. My friend and I have struggled with infertility and are now beginning a Bible study/support group this month through our church. We are hoping that we have a good response and that women will come and seek the encouragement and support that we wish we would have had when we started this journey.
Kristy- I am wanting to do that too! If you have Amy advice, I’d love it!
Your blog is such a support for me, I’m just starting our journey and it’s important for me especially because my faith has been weak so not only are you a support for infertility but you’re a support for my faith as well. I use your 31 Days book and started to blog about it but felt so lost after day five I felt the need to focus on it on my own before I shared my journey with the world. I just wanted to share how much I appreciate you!
