Have you been thinking about starting a blog to document your own fertility experience? Maybe you’ve tried to start a blog before, but just find yourself staring at the screen because you’re not sure what to write.
I know it can be hard to sort through your thoughts and experiences and come up with blog posts when you’re trying to conceive. Plus, if you’re not in the middle of actively trying to conceive naturally or with treatments, it can sometimes feel like you don’t have anything new to share.
But with a little thought and planning, it’s possible to come up with dozens of ideas for blog posts. I should know– I’ve written over 500 posts on this blog! So here’s a list of 20 great blog post ideas for your infertility blog that are guaranteed to help cure your writer’s block.
- Share playlists of songs that have encouraged you.
- Share your list of favorite books that have educated and encouraged you.
- Share the products and items that you’ve used during your infertility journey.
- Create a list of your favorite fertility blogs and/or bloggers.
- Update readers on your doctor’s appointments, treatments, monthly cycles, etc.
- Tell your marriage story.
- Talk about goals you have that are related to family-building
- Share the lessons you’re learning.
- Post your favorite quotes or Scripture.
- Give your best tips for doing IVF injections, organizing your meds, or other tasks related to family-building.
- Interview other people who have been through infertility.
- Host a giveaway.
- Share ideas on how to advocate for increased infertility awareness.
- Ask your spouse to write a guest post.
- Talk about how your support group is organized.
- Share links to articles and other blog posts about infertility, TTC, and fertility.
- Write a letter to your future child.
- Write a letter to pre-TTC self.
- Share photos of the items you’ve purchased in anticipation of a future child.
